Want to Help?

Over 25,981 households (50,923 members) and their families helped last year! There are many ways you can help. Anything you can do, from donating your time as a volunteer to donating goods or money, will be most appreciated. Our volunteers provide over 150 service hours each week.

Please call the office and ask about available openings in the area that you would be interested in volunteering. Please do not be concerned - we will train you for any of our volunteer assignments.

Reception Desk: collect information from clients, file, answer the telephone
Food Pickup: pick up food from grocery stores, churches and schools
Food Pantry: fill client food requests, stock shelves and receive food donations
Bank Benefit Interview Counselor: interviews and assists clients with applications for SNAP (food stamps), medicaid, LIS, TANF, Lifeline, and other benefits

Shifts are:
Each area has different "shifts", but most volunteers work 3-4 hours weekly, bi-weekly, or as needed.
